The Data Foundation invites Data Coalition Members to please join us on Wednesday, February 11, 1:00 - 1:45 pm ET for What FY2026 Appropriations Mean for Data Policy & Evaluation Priorities, a members-only briefing.
With final passage of the FY 2026 appropriations bills on February 3, 2026 (and a two-week continuing resolution for the Department of Homeland Security), Congress has set funding levels that will shape federal data infrastructure and evaluation capacity for the year ahead. The Data Coalition is hosting a members-only briefing to analyze the key outcomes from the appropriations process and their implications for the data policy and evidence community.
This briefing will examine winners and losers in data policy and evaluation funding, explore how final appropriations decisions affect Chief Data Officer operations, open data initiatives, and Evidence Act implementation, and discuss what these funding levels mean for our community's priorities in the year ahead.
