Kris has almost two decades of experience in the federal government. He spent seven years as Chief Data Officer of the General Services Administration (GSA). During his tenure at GSA, he developed and implemented an enterprise self-service data analytics platform that was managed by a multi-tiered governance model. Kris also led GSA’s technological advancements with cultural change and ensured business and technology leaders collaborated at the highest levels of the organization.

He brings extensive knowledge and expertise for building a strong data ecosystem across government. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome Kris to the Chairperson role.”
Currently, Kris serves as the Chief Data Officer at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. In this role, Kris supports technology modernization efforts that drive data analytical capabilities and supports the organization in prioritizing data and information needs of state regulators across the country.
