Part 2 of the Data Coalition's members-only roundtable series on the National Secure Data Service:
To implement the National Secure Data Service (NSDS) pilot project, the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) works with various organizations to explore potential opportunities for the future NSDS, soliciting proposals from organizations with high-value, innovative use cases for a data sharing and linkage platform. Certain members of the Data Coalition community are among the organizations that have received contract awards from the pilot project, including Mathematica.
This roundtable provides Data Coalition members with an opportunity to hear directly from Mathematica about their unique, forward-leaning data linkage projects with the NSDS. As NSDS prepares for its next round of project solicitations, members attending this roundtable will gain insights into lessons learned, expectations, and advice tailored to those interested in becoming involved with NSDS going forward.
Part 1 of the NSDS series featured the Supervisory Program Director of the NSDS Demonstration Project and provided the Data Coalition with insight into progress of the project thus far and plans for 2024.
