Overview
Ensuring that the American public receives public services and program delivery informed by the best data and evidence has been a growing endeavor for years. As more examples abound about the successes of applying data and evidence in policy and day-to-day decision-making, attendees joined the Data Foundation for a virtual event to explore the efforts to improve storytelling across the field. As we increasingly move beyond anecdotes to highlight real cases of evidence-informed decision-making and policymaking from around the United States we invited participants to consider their own examples and successes.
During the event, speakers addressed:
Alex Hradecky, Health Policy Fellow, Data Policy, Data Foundation
Christopher Murrell, Manager, Evidence and Evaluation Capacity, Data Foundation
RC Sadoff, Health Policy Fellow, Data Policy, Data Foundation
Justin Tooley, Director, American Rescue Plan Programs, U.S. Economic Development Administration
