Overview

Attendees joined us for a thoughtful webinar exploring the Data Foundation's new report "Breaking Down Barriers: Implementing the Evidence Act for Education and Workforce Data." This session examined how the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act (Evidence Act) has impacted workforce and higher education data systems, highlighting five key challenge areas identified through extensive stakeholder engagement: data standards, organizational silos, resource constraints, data access barriers, and privacy concerns. The discussion focused on the report's actionable recommendations for federal agencies and Congress.

Participants gained a clear understanding of how to advance the Evidence Act's vision for integrated data systems that support evidence-informed policymaking while maintaining privacy protections.
