Overview

Government Innovation Fellowships have provided a pathway for motivated and talented job seekers and college students to gain public sector experience. The fellowships have been active for over 15 years, and plenty of lessons can be learned as governments continue to struggle in retaining talent, particularly in technology modernization and data. Attendees joined the Data Foundation in exploring how local, state, and federal government have leveraged fellowships and applied lessons for bringing in innovative talent and building robust workforce pipelines.
