Dr. Amanda Cash, DrPH, MPH, brings nationally recognized expertise in data policy, evaluation, performance measurement, and evidence-based decision-making. She is now the Senior Director for Data Policy at the Data Foundation, and most recently, she was the Chief Data and Evaluation Officer at the Administration for Community Living at the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. She has held leadership positions at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, and others. She has worked closely with state, local, tribal, and territorial systems to create practical, user-friendly tools that empower leaders to track progress, refine interventions, and tell their stories through data. Her work is grounded in both federal accountability standards and the real-world needs of practitioners. As an epidemiologist, she has always seen the power and promise of using data for informed decision-making.
