This report details an intercomparison exercise focused on the detection and quantification of methane plumes using data from the EnMAP satellite instrument. Building on previous studies like the EMIT intercomparison, this activity evaluates the performance of nine different analytical approaches (from seven participating teams) in estimating methane emission rates from both controlled releases and "wild" plumes.
