Join the Data Foundation as we host a member-only roundtable with Victoria Houed, Director of AI Policy and Strategy in the Office of the Chief Data Officer and Oliver Wise, Chief Data Officer and Acting Under Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Department of Commerce, to discuss the RFI and how to make open data assets “AI-ready.” This roundtable is an opportunity to collaborate with other experts in data, AI, and government to learn about leveraging open government data to drive innovation, address societal challenges, and enhance transparency and accountability in government operations.
April 2024 the Office of the Chief Data Officer at the Department of Commerce announced it is seeking public feedback to support its ability to advance transparency, innovation, and the responsible use and dissemination of public data assets for artificial intelligence (AI). To enable emerging AI tools to access and use Commerce public data while ensuring data quality and integrity remain, the Department issued a request for information (RFI) exploring topics related to data dissemination standards, data ethics, data access, and partnership engagement.
This event is available to Data Coalition Community members only. If you are a member and would like to join, please write to info@datafoundation.org.
