Kortni Washington is a Graduate Fellow for the Data Foundation Center for Evidence Capacity, assisting on projects surrounding the topic of public health, hunger, and nutrition. Kortni is from Eastvale, California, and graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Public Health: Health Policy and Management. She is currently a Master of Science in Epidemiology Candidate at Georgetown University, focusing on social and behavioral epidemiology. Kortni is interested in the relationship between the physical/sociopolitical environment and health outcomes using evidence-based policy. Kortni is experienced in mixed methods health policy analysis from her previous position at RTI International as a Public Health Analyst.
