Data Coalition Supports the Latest Iteration of Taxpayers Right-To-Know Act

On Thursday, July 18, 2019, Senators James Lankford (R-OK), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), and Joni Ernst (R-IA) reintroduced the Taxpayers Right-To-Know Act (S. 2177). Following its introduction, Data Coalition CEO Nick Hart issued the following statement:

The Data Coalition strongly supports the bipartisan Taxpayers Right-To-Know Act, as reintroduced on July 18 by Senators James Lankford and Maggie Hassan. This proposal will provide the American public and policymakers valuable information to make informed decisions about government operations. The bill will increase transparency and accountability across federal agencies, and ultimately help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of federal programs. The Data Coalition urges Congress to quickly advance this important legislation.

The Data Coalition has also issued a letter of support on S.2177.
