Task Forces & Roundtables
The Data Foundation works with members of the Data Coalition Community and supporters through Task Forces, Roundtables, and Working Groups. We convene these groups to focus on developing legislative or regulatory proposals that support responsible policies to make government data high-quality, accessible, and usable.

Financial Data Transparency Act Roundtable
The Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA) Roundtable is open to Data Foundation supporters and friends of the Data Foundation, upon invitation. The FDTA Roundtable will meet every two months with the intent of sharing and exchanging information related to FDTA implementation, to coordinate on potential comments and recommendations for the 2024 proposed rule, and build community among like-minded financial regulatory data community members.

Evidence Act Roundtable
The Evidence Act Roundtable supports implementation of all aspects of the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act (Evidence Act), but prioritizes work on data-related issues provisions. Specific topical areas include open data inventories, open data plans, learning agendas, evaluation policies, tiered access, and disclosure avoidance. Participation in the roundtable is open to Data Coalition members and strategic partners interested in effective Evidence Act implementation.
