News & Reports is the Evidence Act Hub's dynamic section tracking ongoing developments in federal evidence-building capacity and implementation of the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act. This section highlights announcements about updates to agencies’ strategic documents (such as learning agendas, evaluation plans, and open data plans etc.), personnel changes (such as new designations of Chief Data Officers and Evaluation Officers), new guidance from the White House, and significant policy shifts affecting evidence infrastructure. This page serves as the primary source for time-sensitive information about the state of federal data and evidence activities.
